This art piece is a Denim on Denim (Candaian Tuxedo) sculpture over a styrofoam base. The patchwork of the denim is an homage to an African technique, "Bifile Patchwork." The intention and energy behind this piece is simple... We all put our pants on one leg at a time and we all originated in the same place. But beyond the surface, the human spirit is sooo durable and able to withstand with the same durabilty of denim. We are all HUMAN and put our pants on one leg at a time.
